What To Do About Hand, Wrist and Arm Tension

Wrist Arm and Hand TensionAre you a Bodyworker or someone who is on the computer a lot?

If you are someone who works with your hands it is really common to have pain and tension in your hands, wrist and arms that can become debilitating.

As a PT I see a lot of people with wrist issues, hand stiffness and/or arm pain which keep them limited in doing the activities they love.  And as a massage therapist or as someone on a computer a good part of the day, it is imperative to keep your upper extremities is good shape.

Over the years I have learned a few “gems” that have really helped me to stay out of pain and treat the tension that can build up with over use.  I put together a set of simple exercises that decrease trigger points in key areas, stretch and release the myofascial in the arms to keep your arms in balance and relaxed.  I hope you find them helpful.
