Its spring! and yes its time to get your mojo back “on”….. Time to blow all those cobwebs off your bicycle and find your trail running shoes and get moving again. Here at The Movement Studio we are gearing up to offer some Spring and Summer Workshops for small groups who are interested in getting some postural advice regarding their particular activity.
Postural Advice Workshops
Are you a hiker, runner, Rower, cyclist or softball player? Do you do these activities in a group? If so, consider getting some of your comrades together and come in for a free one hour workshop to discuss your particular sport and ways to improve your postural alignment. All these activities can benefit from some input regarding optimal alignment of your hips and pelvis as well as your shoulders. If your shoulder blades are not in optimal alignment throwing and riding a bike can cause some neck and shoulder issues. If your hips and pelvis are not in optimal alignment, your hips and knees as well as your low back may begin to complain.
Any repetitive activity can cause problems and we all want to feel our best when doing activities that we love. At the workshop I will give you an explanation of the common postural issues regarding your particular sport and discuss ways to address those issue.
So, if you have a group of 4 people who would like to sign up for some free advice, call me at the studio at 541-535- 7019. We can set up a weekend time to get together AND if you are a solo exerciser just call for and set up a” free 30 minute discovery session”
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you and sharing some wisdom on how to stay aligned and healthy with your activities this spring and summer.
